New Sim

I have just received a new sim card about two weeks ago, this was because the old sim had broken. I have just received a message to say that I will get a new sim card delivered in the next three working days. It also says that it must be activated within 14 days of the email (activation date, 16/09/22). However I will not be in the country when the sim arrives, nor will I be back within the 14 days to put it in the phone to activate it. This means I will have no phone, which I will need for work and contacting family back in the UK!

I DO NOT WANT THE SIM CARD CHANGING AGAIN.

Hi there @brynknowles, welcome back to our forum and thanks for your post.

I'm sorry to see that this sim is being sent while you will be outside of the UK. So I can check to see why this is being sent so soon after getting another I am going to send you a PM to confirm your details.

Regards

Nathan

Nathan,
This issue is now sorted. I have dealt with it, after you told me nothing could be done!

Hi brynknowles,

I'm glad to hear you were able to get this resolved.

It's sounds as though you spoke with another team that has the ability to do more actions that we can.

I hope so Martin, I was told the sim card which was sent out, had been cancelled. They will send another after the 23rd Sept when I get back to the UK. I will contact Virgin again nearer the time to send another Sim out, to coincide with me getting back.
