New Sim issues

Hi 

I've received a new Sim for my Pay As You Go Samsung S6810 Galaxy Fame (GT-S6810P). Followed the instructions on the letter and the phone powers up but does not connect to the network and receives no confirming text. It also does not ask for any code or pin. Left the phone for over 24 hours to see if it would activate,but to no joy. I performed a Manual network search and it finds the Virgin network but still will not connect. Cleaned the Sim contacts and tried the above again but still not connecting to the network.

Please can you help me.

It seems like the activation may have not gone through properly, I'll pop you over a private message so we can pass security and do this for you.
