New SIM not working

Hi, 

Received new SIM last week and put it in phone. Although the message 'No SIM' did not appear the phone would not connect to the network - the signal bars remained at zero.

The old SIM still works if I swap it back in.

I have tried rebooting the phone several times, as well as leaving it for over 24 hours, but the new SIM will not find any signal at all.

Have not received a text after installing the new SIM either, which I gather would be an indication of it working.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry to see you've been having issues with your new SIM card, it sounds like this may need to be activated, which should have happened automatically when it was inserted into the handset.

 

Can you tell me if this is still on going, or if this has been resolved?

Hi,

Yes, this is still happening.

Tried the new SIM again overnight just to make sure and still no signal getting picked up.

I'd appreciate the assistance,
