Hi, I had no issues at all with my previous Virgin SIM but with this new SIM that I was told to switch to, I've found that although I can call people, my SMS messages don't send. They just time out with a message saying "retries exceeded".
I've found that if I reboot my phone and afterwards press resend on a text it will send that one text yet if I try to send another or a new one, it times out again. So currently the only way I can send SMS is by turning my phone on and off before I send each one.
Is this a bad SIM or a bad network issue? Either way it's annoying.
Yes I'm still experiencing the same issue even after removing and reinserting the card.
I can phone people and they can phone me however I noticed that my Line 1 number instead of showing my actual number now shows the words "Unknown Number".
I tried using my data and I got a message saying that it wasn't allowed under my current plan, however my plan actually does includes data. I can connect the phone to the internet through my WIFI however.
