New SIM does not work

New SIM card sent to me (Order Number [REMOVED]) not working in iPhone 4: it just does not connect to Virgin network and shows 'No service', tried reinserting & restarting several times but nothing happens, no codes etc. have been requested.
Old SIM card still working fine; handset functions fine on WiFi service.

Please can you advise and / or send a replacement SIM card?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums. 

 

It sounds like the new SIM card you have isn't activate yet - as your old SIM still works. On the packaging it would advise on how to do this. Is this still the case at the moment?
