New SIM card has stopped working

Upgraded phone to Galaxy A51 5G & received new SIM end Jul2020.

Everything working fine until Sat 29th August when suddenly get message on phone - No SIM - emergency calls only.

PHone does not seems to recognise the SIM anymore.

SIM does not work in any other handset either.

Virgin helpdesk informs me that local Netowrk tower is being upgraded -  with no indication when service will be resumed.

I am self employed and need the phone up and running again asap. I have had NO mobile service since evening - of Fri 24th Aug 2020

Can you let me know when i can get normal service again - Or if yet another new SIM is required?

Re: New SIM card has stopped working

That message doesn't sound like a network problem, but just in case

https://myaccount.ee.co.uk/networkchecker/checkservice

Virgin still use EE for signal

Re: New SIM card has stopped working

Network coverage is fine in this area as other family members have full virgin service.

My SIM is not working - not in my phone  nor in any other phone.

Wait times on helpline ridiculous
