New SIM No service

 

Signed up for broadband 

Got oomph sim. Put in phone and no service.

A day later old number transferred across but still no service.

No option to activate SIM and not asked for SIM security PIN.

Virgin shows up as network on phone

How can I get sim to activate? Alternative is to request sim for previous supplier and cancel Virgin.

Please help
