When you called did you manage to sort the new Sim card out

As my Virgin mobile phone and SIM were recently destroyed by water damage, I have just received a replacement Galaxy A50 under my Virgin insurance plan.

I can't use it to make calls as it has no SIM.

I emailed the insurance service who sent this reply:

Thank you for contacting Virgin Media Protect*.
I am sorry for inconvenience we do not send out sim cards please contact customer services for this.

So I searched the Virgin mobilehelp site for how to order a new SIM (https://devicesupport.virginmedia.com/customer/)

The options offered are: 1) go into a Virgin store (in fact they are all closed due to Covid), 2) call the 0345 help number. I did. I was emailed a link back to the original Virgin mobilehelp site.

I'm not impressed
