NEW SIM CARD

Received a new SIM card this morning and having followed the enclosed instruction given when the phone was switched on received a message 'NOT REGISTRERED ON NETWORK'.

I switched off and took out the card just in case there was some dirt on it. Cleaned and re-inserted. Switched the phone back on only to get the same message.

Any help would be appreciated.
