My iphone sim in ibiza

Hello im going to ibiza in 3 weeks and am wondering is all i do is to switch roaming on in my settings for my phone to work.my sim switched from virgin to o2 a while ago.

Hi Dereklad,

Thank you for your post. You would likely also need to ensure Roaming service is active via your online account. 

I would recommend checking your O2 online account for this.

Well ive been on the o2 website on my account and ill assume roaming is switched on as i cant actually see an option to switch roaming on.

its all a bit confusing.

i dunno.

Roaming is automatically on with O2

No need to switch it on before you go

Well a couple of years ago with my virgin sim i travelled to ibiza and my phone was dead.

eventually i had to switch over to a strange network throught virgin called star or something like that.

does o2 automatically switch over then..

Or is o2 in ibiza.

im just asking if anyone has taken an o2 to spain.

Thanks for your post and welcome back to the community.

Just to clarify on this the network should switch automatically however if you do find yourself experiencing connection issues be sure to access your network settings to manually select one.
