More SIM card problems

My wife is on PAYG Virgin Mobile and after some confussion eventually got her new SIM card.

We read the letter several times and followed the installation instructions.

Everything appears to be working, text can be sent and recieved as can voice calls, but she has recieved a couple of texts from VM saying she hasn't changed her SIM card.

I have watched the video on how to change and it says a text will be recieved to confirm the change, she never recieved one.

It she logs into her mobile account this also says the SIM is nor changes, could someone from VM please comment on this problem.

Thanks for the reply, difficult times, I quite understand the delay.

The problem was solved via text messaging and it turned out it was my fault.

The phone was 3 years old and I had forgotten that the SIM card sat under the mini SD card slot so when I thought I had installed the new sim it was actually in the SD slot and the old SIM was still there, hence the phone still working.

One of your very patient and helpful staff exchanged texts with my wife and when I sussed my mistake everything was set up and now works perfectly.
