Mobile phone contract spam alert

Yesturday I had 7 calls all from different locations within the uk saying they are from virgin media. I have a contract mobile phone with virgin which I took out in January this year. 
They are asking me whether I want to upgrade my phone with the iPhone14 pro max with all unlimited for £30 a month.

I have the iPhone 13 pro max and I pay £60 a month.

I said that if I took this new contract out what happens to my original one they said it’s an upgrade so you don’t pay any more than £30 a month. I am finding this difficult to get my head around it. So basically my iPhone 13 that I have a contract for and paying off monthly with be terminated and they will give me an iPhone 14 with unlimited for £30 a month. 
something isnt right there. So I said no Thankyou. After that phone call my phone was ringing all through the day from different locations and different numbers.

Is this legit or a spam ?
