Mobile data - slow or not working at all

I purchased a new phone and put my new sim in it. I then swapped sims over into new phones for my children too. We all have iphones. On the wifi, internet is speedy. On the mobile data, its terribly slow if loading at all. When using mobile data it says "safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding". 

I have installed the virgin pack thing that it says to do when you put a sim into a new phone but still nothing. Does anyone have any fixes for this or do I just need to change network?

Can we ask if this on 4G or 3G?

Its not connecting on 3G or 4G

Can we ask if you have restarted your handsets and made sure that your mobile data is active in your settings?

Are you also able to go in to your iPhone settings and make sure you are connected to the network.

The phones have all been reset to factory settings. Mobile data is turned on, 4G appears on the screen but there's no internet at all.
