Mobile Signal loss CV7

I used to have excellent mobile service in my area, always 3 or 4 bars on signal strength and 4G no issue.

Since the new year I now get 1 bar signal or no signal at all. is this a by product of moving from EE to Vodafone? The EE signal was always excellent in the CV7 area where as Vodafone was shocking, hence why I moved to Virgin.

Am I now back on the Vodafone network and hence a very poor signal?

Any help to get a strong mobile signal back or do I need to move from Virgin back to a network with a better signal?

Dave

here’s a picture of my current signal strength or should I say, lack of signal!

Not good as this happens frequently through out the day and evening!

Not impressed

Apparently superb signal strength expected indoors and out! Shame real life doesn’t match exceptions or predictions!

latest, we have one bar!

Re: Mobile Signal loss CV7

Complaint raised, but I doubt it’ll do much good as this is an issue with Vodafone in this area, which was the reason I changed to Virgin.
Guess I’ll have to look for a new service provider as unless Vodafone sort out the signal I’ll never have the same signal strength as I had when Virgin used EE!

Re: Mobile Signal loss CV7

If that is the case that Vodafone is poor for you then yes, you need to find a provider that still uses EE

Re: Mobile Signal loss CV7

Still poor signal.

followed all the instructions on resetting network settings etc as Vodafone coverage checker shows good 4G signal inside and out for my area, but still a poor signal indicating a possible SIM issue.

rang 789 to arrange for a new SIM card and was told I could have a PAC code to move to a different provider! Been with Virgin for years, whole household use Virgin and I’m the only one with a signal issue, but rather than try and help the customer rep just offered my PAC code and told me to move! Is this the new style of customer service, a company wreaking customer service rep! To top it al off the rep put the phone down on me when I started to challenge them!

Virgin mobile, shall we try a new SIM card or shall I just cancel all the mobile contracts at this location and move to a new provider?
