Mobile Phone Coverage Poor

Hello Virgin Mobile

I am in the process of moving house to Monifieth DD5 4AZ. The mobile phone reception in the area is appalling. Even in the main street it is appalling. Virgin Coverage check confirms this is a known localised blackspot. Can something to be done to improve this or will I have to move to BT and take my internet access to BT as well.

Regards Craig

Re: Mobile Phone Coverage Poor

Probably best checking  Vodafone or O2 that use different masts to EE based networks

Re: Mobile Phone Coverage Poor

Get a Giff Gaff SIM put £5 on and try out the reception before committing to anything more permanent on O2

Re: Mobile Phone Coverage Poor

EE do have good 800Mhz service in this location, so the service from an EE-pay-monthly phone will be different to that of Virgin Mobile.

I'm with enlli & jb66 who've both suggested trying out providers by using live SIMs rather than coverage predictions.
