Locked out of voicemail abroad

Same problem here, currently abroad and cannot access my voicemail, the PIN was never set. Wasn't even aware/informed that one should be set before leaving.

I tried calling to reset it but the temp code sent was so long I didn't have time to enter it and it locked me again.

I am due to return to the UK tomorrow so if this is not sorted before then I hope that once back in the UK a PIN is not required.

Now I am back in the UK voicemail is working but I guess next time I go abroad it won't but as I do not receive many calls and even fewer voicemail messages this is not likely to be a problem.

Really sorry that I was unable to deal with this for you before you returned. I know you said my PM to you had arrived a few hours after my public message but this wasn't possible as I had actually finished at 4pm on Friday (so haven't seen your messages until just now unfortunately).

Glad that everything's working for you now you're back home however. Going forwards, please make sure your roaming is activated before you leave the UK and you shouldn't have any problems once you are away again!

If you do however, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Your PM to me was sent at 13:36 on Wednesday according to the email notification which did not arrive until 19:34 on the Wednesday see email time stamp:

I already have roaming switched on and always have had which is why I was surprised that it requested a PIN, is this something new?

The voicemail service for accessing the facility whilst outside of the UK has always had a PIN TeresaL. To help prevent issues in the future we're happy to help get this reset for you?
