Hi,

I have an unlocked iPhone 8 Plus on a virgin sim only package for many years. This morning I got the message that my SIM is locked and to enter my SIM pin but I don’t have that due to the length of time I’ve had it. Because my SIM is locked I can’t even phone virgin. I haven’t put the wrong PIN in 3 times. Any help gratefully appreciated as I’ve tried different options found online nothing works. I went into my account and got the PUK but couldn’t work out where to enter it.

You can't put in the PUK until you have entered the SIM pin wrong 3 times.

Bizarrely son told me to put in an incorrect SIM pin in multiple times so that we could try again and it accepted it. I’ve salted your reply away for the next time.
