Lack of signal

Had this issue for a while now.  Signal drops out and I can't get through to anyone.  Since I live alone and have to keep in touch with my mum who lives 80 miles away on her own and has dementia this is more than just an inconvenience.  When I ring Virgin it says the line is busy!  I can't call from my mobile as the call just drops out.

I am very unhappy.

Re: Lack of signal

Have you tried putting your postcode in here. Use the button for I have a problem

https://coverage.ee.co.uk/coverage/ee

As calls are dropping you will need good 3G coverage indoors

Re: Lack of signal

Hello Katiecat3

Sorry to hear about signal dropping
I am more than happy to take a look at this for you
I will need to send you a private message to pass security
If you can check the purple envelope top right of your screen that would be great
Regards

Re: Lack of signal

Hi there @Katiecat3

Thanks for popping back - did you get your new SIM as per what you advised a couple of weeks ago and are you still having issues with your new SIM? I can see the new SIM was activated with no issues.

When checking your area, we can see that the nearest mast to your home is fully operational. There a couple a bit further out that have had some degraded services but there are plenty of other masts in the surrounding area to pick up any slack.

Do you only have this issue at home? How's things when outside - even in the garden, any better?

Have you tried your SIM in a new device at all?

Keep us posted and we'll go from there.
