Keeping old number

Hi all,

I ordered a new SIM only plan yesterday, I'm switching from Vodafone and want to keep my number, I didn't have my PAC code when I ordered but I have one now, the order details I got show a new mobile number, when the new SIM arrives how do I keep my number please.

Thanks

Irene

Re: Keeping old number

You need a PAC

If you want to bring your number with you, you’ll need a Porting Authorisation Code, usually called a PAC.

When you use a PAC your old airtime plan will be cancelled as soon as the switch completes. That means you won’t need to serve a notice period with your old provider or pay double the bills.

Call your old network ask them it should arrive in a few hours. Call Virgin give them the details (PAC code), they process it should be done in... Two working days

Re: Keeping old number

PAC codes are valid for 30 days and can be used anytime in that window.

Re: Keeping old number

Hi Irenec, thanks for the message. Can you confirm if you have now received the sim card? Do you still require assistance with the porting? Please let us know? Chris

Re: Keeping old number

Great news, when the number does port you will lose signal for a short while the number changes ^Chris
