Keeping my Old Number

a week ago

Hello,

Today I switched over to Virgin Mobile 30 Day SIM plan from a different provider. I wanted to keep my old number so I gave the PAC code from my previous mobile provider.

After purchasing the plan I saw that I cannot switch numbers while abroad. I am currently abroad, and wont be returning to the UK for another 3 months. Is there any way around this issue? I need to keep my phone number as it is attached to my banking etc. and I do not want to have to stay with my old provider until I return.

No way round I'm afraid. Both SIM cards need to be in UK for the swap to take place
