Just got a contract phone

Hi I just got a contract phone today and I’m swapping from a sim only deal, I’ve unlimited calls and texts along with 100gb of data with contract phone. I’ve put the sim into my new phone and I thought that it the 100gb of data would be activated on that sim but it still shows that I’m using the same data from my sim only deal. So can any help it would be much appreciated

If all you did was upgrade your account from one VM account to another why did you get a new SIM. they should of just updated the deal not he current sim. Are you sure they didn't create a new contract/number?

No new sim come with the phone I put the sim from my old phone straight into my new one today . I went from a sim only deal to a contract

It sounds like the new contract hasn't started yet so you are still on the old one.give it a few days to update

The person on the phone said that it do it automatic once the phone has been delivered and the sim put in the phone

maybe so but the account online can take a few days to update
I'd also question how VM knows you have swapped the sim card into a new phone.
