Issues receiving OTP text messages

Hi All, 

We are aware that some customers may be experiencing issues receiving OTP text messages.

Our support team are investigating this issue and we will update this thread with any progress.

I'm receiving the same issues. I have an old Santander OTP sent to me 40 times since Friday - the same text.
The same Amazon pin sent 7 times since Saturday - the exact same text.
Today I cannot receive new OTP from HMRC or Sandander.

I cannot submit anything to HMRC or do any banking!!

Why have you pinned a 3 year old message. Lots of people (including me and my wife) have this issue so can you get it resolved please and post a response to say when it is going to be sorted out. I phoned on Saturday and was told it would be resolved at 8am yesterday. Yet again Virgin promise and don't deliver.

I am a new customer and i am still facing this issue today 3 Aug 2023.

no otp from any website or banks account just ported my number today….restarted reset phone and network setting and all i could do still no otp.

 

even tried this on another phone.

 

didnt expect this to happen very horrible experience as a new customer.

 

 

account f2a tested on google microsoft facebook instagram whatsapp Barclays monzo bank  now locked out of all these services 

Number same everything was working well  yesterday with my previous operator but now facing this

We're sorry to hear of this issue this OTP messages, we'd love to best assist you.

Can you please confirm if the issue with these started after your number port completed or was receiving OTP a problem before this change?
Also, are you able to send and receive other messages and make calls as normal on this number and did we confirm the number port has been successful when this happened?

Once you share more on the above we'll be eager to help further.

I am also a new customer and noticed that i cant receive OTP messages from my banks.

 

This only started once my number changed to virgin media.

 

I am able to receive and make normal messages and calls.

 

I read about GOMO having this issue but wouldnt expect it from virgin. Is there any other solutions other than the resets that dont work?
