Installed New Sim - Can't receive calls

I received a new SIM from Virgin Mobile as part of the network upgrade. Since installing the new sim (iPhone XR) anyone calling me gets a 'phone switched off' message but I can call out. I've tried the sim in another iPhone XR and the same thing happens which suggests it's a sim or network issue and not my phone

I'm sorry to learn that you've been having issues with your new SIM.

 

You mentioned that whilst you're unable to receive calls, you can still call out. Are you able to call all different types of numbers e.g mobile and landline numbers?

 

Also, are you able to send/receive texts messages and use your mobile data?

Every thing works except I don't receive calls and text messages

Mobile data works, I can send texts and call both landline and mobile numbers

Appreciate the help
