I lost my phone service due to multiple failures to deliver new o2 enabled SIM cards (cards not sent, cards sent to wrong address etc, etc) Spent hours talking to folks at Virgin only to be disconnected despite assurances that service will be maintained the day before a 2 week work trip to Iraq 😩 Had to run down to OXford Street to get Temp Three SIM otherwise would have had no phone service in war zone!!!
Eventually gave up gave, gave notice to quit the entire bundle (TV/Broadband/Mobile) as TV also had not worked for previous 6 weeks either. They Okay'd this and so cancelled £152 monthly payment. Wasn't too concerned with clawing back monies paid for NO SERVICE in previous 4-6 weeks - JUST SO desperate to get away from disastrous Virgin 'Service' - worst experience since leaving Talk Talk a decade a ago. Spoke to customer services told them I wanted to leave and they confirmed that was oK to quit all bundled all services through single contract.
I got my PAC number a month ago and have now switched to Three permanently.
All good until this morning when I received..... A bill from Virgin for £152 !!!!!
Yep - you could not make this up!!! Despite them disconnecting me from my paid mobile service and me having to run around like a blue a***ed fly the night before leaving to work in a literal war zone to get a working phone service and having received NO TV signal and Virgin confirming that it was ok to cancel direct debit as I was out of contract and them providing me with a PAC number THEY ARE CHASING ME FOR PAYMENT!!!
INSANITY. Please Virgin - let me go and let's call the whole thing off. Stop sending me bills for non-existant services.
Next Step TWITTER.
