How do I speak to a human to cancel following bereavement?

Does anyone know how to speak with a human at Virgin Mobile?

I'm trying to cancel a SIM only contract following a bereavement, and every number or option I try ultimate asks me if I want a link for the help page sent to my mobile, then drops the call.

It seems that all the shops are closed as well, and I know that if I just cancel the DD then I'll likely be hit with other charges.

I've now spent hours exploring every avenue to try and get through to someone and am at my wits end.

This customer service is non-existent!

Re: How do I speak to a human to cancel following bereavement?

I've had similar problems.

Judging by comments and issues on this forum, and on Twitter, Virgin Mobile have more or less withdrawn support for their mobile phone customers, leaving us all high and dry. Calling 789 is useless - there's no-one there - every option in their computerised call handling system ends up offering to text you a link to the help pages on their website, which you've probably read already! This leaves one with the impression that they simply regard their customers as an inconvenience they'd prefer not to deal with.

I wish I could offer more help, but all I can say is that you're not alone.

No. The first thing you will know is the debit recovery letters and a hole in your credit score.

Im sorry but virgin isn't fit for purpose and ill be phoning trading standards about my rights. I took this 30 day rolling contract out on the understanding I could cancel at anytime
