Hi @Southamptonjohn,

Welcome to our Community Forums! Thank you for your first post and for your query! We're here to help! 🙂

A trip to New York sounds exciting! You will find our Roaming in the USA page useful for when you travel!

We're in the process of moving all customer SIM networks over to O2 as part of a migration. If you're in the UK when this migration happens, it will happen automatically and you will not need a new SIM card.

However, if this migration takes place while you're abroad, we will automatically send a new SIM card with the new network  to your listed address, as we'll be unable to connect to your SIM abroad to do this. This will cause the service on your current SIM card to be disconnected.

I'll be happy to look into this further for you via Private Message to confirm any details to ensure that you're ready to travel. Please keep an eye out for a purple envelope at the top right corner of your Forum page. I'll be in touch soon.

Thank you! 🙂
