Have virgin started swapping us from EE

My signal Has gone from 4-5 bars to 1 and my battery needs charging every day now it was every 3-4 days. Friend called me earlier and said did I get text the other day! My reply was no. Have I been moved from EE if so I will be moving from virgin as soon as my contract it up. Gone from good service to nearly none.

Re: Have virgin started swapping us from EE

Answer to that is no. Sounds more like a network problem to me. EE do seem to be doing a lot of engineering work at present

Hi, I believe that it is likely to be March or April before the merger and switch are effect, but nothing definite, this is just best available information at the moment.

Re: Have virgin started swapping us from EE

Virgin moved control away from EE over a year ago, EE is currently providing only the radio frequencies.

Stuff such as SIM validation is done by Proximus/Belgacom in Belgium.

AFAIK VM cannot move its mobile operation onto O2 until the merger is in place.

Hopefully it will be dishing out sims for a real network not yet another mvno sitting on top of O2.

Integrating the two mobile providers will be a massive job.

Re: Have virgin started swapping us from EE

Hello

What every happens to the mergers either to O2 or Vodaphone, VM will remain a MVNO when / if VM change it networks the SIM will not change again.

Thanks Hugh I am not alone then. My coverage has gone from good to almost not working. I will be getting a new battery while my phone is under warranty then new sim when contract ends.
