Hi 

My question is: will my phone number get cancelled or restricted if I fail to pay my handset loan agreement, but I will continue to pay the airtime monthly plan each month, will that keep my number active even if I default on the handset loan agreement?

Where I can't condone failing to keep up the handset loan agreement. (I know some people may have no option). The SIM is a 30 day rolling contract so you can PAC out to another network to be on the safe side.

However, be aware if you do default you may have difficulty in the future getting a phone contact elsewhere. (even SIM only have a credit check)

You also probably need to talk to a debt advice service)
