Does Virgin Mobile support HD Voice. I have just got my Virgin sim card and standard calls I make don't have the HD tag on my handset. The quality is nowhere near what I was getting on Vodafone.
When using my old Vodafone sim calls to other networks such as ee, 3, Giffgaff and O2 all have HD voice calls. Just not Virgin it appears.
Never seen it advertised. Like you, I'm on Vodafone and most of my calls go VoLTE
However, just tried a Virgin SIM and HD Voice does not come up on my S20 +
As a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share my knowledge. I don't work for Virgin Media.

HD voice is generally associated with VoLTE/4G-voice, which Virgin doesn't have. Virgin, being an MVNO, carry voice calls on 2G & 3G.
Both Vodafone and O2 advertise HD Voice over 3G.
It also works on most of EE's 3G network too, at least the ex-TM side which is now the vast majority.
Of course both parties have to have HD calling and be in an HD area for it to kick in

Have to say it's very poor.
I have made calls to today to smaller networks such as Giffgaff, smarty and tesco mobile today from my Vodafone sim and all get hd calls. Only a call to a virgin mobile doesn't initiate a hd call.
The quality of call sound on virgin mobile is very muffled.
Other MVNOs such as giffgaff, smarty and tesco mobile offer this functionality.
Virgin are usually late to any party.
Probably worth a call to VM support to get the definitive yes or no.
