Getting a 2nd contract and keeping number

Hi, I have a contract but I want to get a 2nd contract (a) so I can get a new phone (b) so that my daughter can have my old phone with existing contract but I need to be able to move my number over from the current contract to the new contract (both virgin) has any done this? Is it possible?

Thank you for taking the time to post your mobile query via the forums in regards to a new contract and keeping your number. We appreciate you raising this and welcome to the community.

 

We aren't able to transfer numbers between two Virgin mobile accounts, you could take another contract and handset (depending on how many you're allowed on your account) and you could use the new handset and your daughter your the old handset with the new number and SIM.
