I moved house in Jan 2019 and someone opened an account on my name at my old address the same month. The current people at the property are adamant they are not the ones.
I rang several times in May and June of 2019 and told them this account was not created by me and i failed security every time.
In 2020 I noticed that default of £18 had been placed on my credit file. I have been trying to have it removed and have asked for proof of who created the account. I even raised it with equifax to dispute and was sent the following:
Virgin Mobile Telecoms Ltd has investigated your customer's query and they've asked that your customer get in touch with them directly using these details as he needs to supply them with photo ID showing his name and date of birth, along with at least three proofs of address showing your customer's residence at the time and date when the offending account was opened and active so they can investigate further.
Please advise your customer to submit his documents to:

I sent letters dated at the time to show I had moved as well as a solicors letter and passport copy and have received NO RESPONSE. I have tried to contact them over and over again to resolve this but they are not responding. What can I do?
