Failed Texts

I keep receiving texts from my bank and my hospital which require a reply. But each time I reply the text fails. Why? This is important because I am missing hospital appointments and bank payments are being held up.

This, I'm afraid is a long standing problem with Virgin. There are a number of threads over several months. Virgin are supposed to be investigating but frankly I'm not sure.

Using the text service will just waste your time.

Does this seem to affect all phones on the Virgin Network or specific ones?
Is there anything other than leaving as an answer?

I have been able to locate your account and cannot see anything that would be causing the problems. Are you still having the same issues?

Hi, yes the problem is just the same. I'm on special medication and it could have been fatal had the hospital not followed up in a different manner and this was just the other day. I have 4 phones with Virgin all on the same account.

This is not just inconvenient but vital. I also lost my bank account for half a day due to not being able to respond to their text security check after making a payment.

I am hoping that you can resolve this as it will become necessary to inform my solictors and MP in order to cover my family if this goes very wrong.
