Existing mobile number suddenly "not recognised"

When I now ring my wife's mobile number (Vodafone), I get a "incorrect number" message and the call disconnects. Neither myself or my wife have recently changed service provider or changed phones or numbers. In fact, the same thing has just started happening to another of my contacts, whom I last called around 4 weeks ago.

I can message my wife's number successfully and receive replies and she can ring me from her mobile without any issues. I can also ring her via Whatsapp. I last called my wife's number 10 days ago.

I've turned my phone off and back on twice, to no effect.

Anyone have any idea how to sort it out.

Thanks

Thanks for your post and welcome to the Community Forums, Krodge,

Sorry to hear this has occurred. Have you tried deleting those contract from your phone and dialling them manually? What happens when you do?

Cheers,

Corey C

Hello Corey,

Thanks for your response. I tried the manual dialling, still didn't work.

However, I'm sorted now - I tried the next morning and 'lo and behold', both numbers connected perfectly.

Software glitch?

Just glad it's gone away.

K.

Thanks for your reply and update, Krodge, glad to hear it's working now for you.

Cheers,

Corey C
