End of contract options

I’ve just made the final payment on my 36 month iPhone contract. I am not thinking of replacing the phone any time soon as there’s nothing wrong it!

I am paying the SIM Airtime plan separately- does that just carry on running until I cancel it? It’s one of the 5 x Data plans so is very good value.

If you have that data plan I would personally stick with it for now. Airtime is 30 day rolling so you can leave anytime. A new plan would tie you in for 12 months or more

Apologies if this is a dumb question but if I am temped by a Black Friday deal, would the SIM work ok in any new iPhone?
