Don’t want to lose UK number while travelling

I’m using a local SIM while travelling in Colombia for 2 months. I’ve just got a message from my phone that my UK number will expire in 5 days if I don’t re-insert my UK SIM. I’ve popped it back in but the error message is still there, I need to stick with my Colombian SIM for another 3 weeks as I can’t get 4G with my UK one - how do I stop my UK number from expiring please?

Re: Don’t want to lose UK number while travelling

I guess you have to make a call to the UK to get it registered that it is still active.
