Recently started a new contract with Virgin mobile with an IPHONE 11 ported number over from Vodafone and constantly get the you have dialled an incorrect number when dialling any of my contacts which all worked perfectly well before...tried the change the region tip works for a while and then reverts back , this is a 3 year contract and I am not able to get in touch with Virgin to answer my issue has anyone else had the same problems? I have seen another thread mentioning this before HELP!!!! this is driving me mad

You can try this as a more permanent fix. You may not have to do the last bit
Settings -> mobile data -> SIM Applications (near bottom) -> tap "Roaming" -> tap "Select Mode"
I found "automatic" was selected by default.
Tap manual -> then choose National.
Now make sure your numbers are set to the correct format. If not change region to anything other than UK (Settings -> General -> Language and Region -> Region) and then change back to UK region
