I have an urgent matter regarding an old virgin media account that was left in my name when I was not living at an address. We had transferred the account to someone when I moved out over 5 years ago. But to my surprise I can see on my credit file you had still reported the account in my name up to last year when it was closed. I am applying for a mortgage and I have this account with lots of defaults that is not even mine. I have emailed you at the credit file amendments email and it’s been over 14 days with no reply. I am urgently needing to sort this out. Please could someone help me ASAP

Sorry to hear this has occurred, however the Credit File Amendment team is the only department that has access to your credit records so we can only advise waiting for a response which can take up to 30 days.
Did you provide them with your account details and the name that it was changed to?
