When you say default on your account, do you mean just that? A balance on a Virgin Media related account? Or do you mean your credit file? If you're referring to a Virgin Media account and the balance is correct, it would remain showing as unpaid on the account. If you're referring to your credit file, that should be removed if you've not had direct contact with a company or agency regarding that balance for a full period of 6 years. But Virgin Media wouldn't be removing any balances if they're correct.
