Is there a way of speaking to someone either on the phone or via these message boards regarding a default on my credit report from 2017/2018 that has been placed in error?
I have two defaulted accounts on my credit report - both from Virgin Media - from a contract and a phone that was stolen and was reported stolen. Within a few months of my phone being stolen, it appears that a default note was placed on my credit report. Why? This is preventing me from being approved for a mortgage. I do not want to wait another half a decade before I can own a new house, especially considering I have a baby on the way and we simply have to upgrade.
This blemish on my credit report is down to an error from Virgin Media and I would like this issue to be resolved as soon as possible.
