Creating a Mobile account with the Oomph bundle

I've just gotten a Vergin Media Oomph bundle and am trying to transfer my old mobile number. I've supplied the PAC with the application, but this didn't seem to trigger anything. I've checked my Virgin Media account and the main page doesn't know I have a Oomph bundle, though it's clearly in the contract and the SIM is actually up and running ok. I've next tried to create a Mobile account, thinking I might be able to trigger the switch there, but I'm unable to do that as it's asking a security question which I didn't provide and answer for.
