Connect app issue

  • Hi the connect app seems stuck on checking sim, it worked fine before I inserted my virgin sim. I'm on the latest android, WiFi off, so firewall off etc. I can even go back to use the rest of the app features. I've uninstalled it rebooted my phone and it still doesn't work

I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with the connect app.  Have you registered your sim via the virgin mobile web page?

Do you mean is my sim registered? Could you please send me the instructions on how I do this?

I've got the app working by taking the sim out and reinstalling the app. The mobile part of the app doesn't work, it gets stuck at the screen which wants to test the 3g/4g signal.

Can you reinsert the sim and disconnect the Wifi so that it uses the data connection to see if anything changes? ^Chris

That has just caused the same issue as before, stuck of checking 3g/4g data, its as though the app doesn't like the sim!
