Claiming back credit after leaving

ReCursing
Tuning in

I received a letter today saying that you had noticed an error on my Oomph sim and so had corrected it with a credit to my account. That's lovely except for one thing: I've already left Virgin media so there's no valid account to credit it to, nor can I see how much the credit is nor how I can claim it back in a way that means anything.

I also cannot find a phone number to call you and the only way I can talk with you on web chat is with What's App, which I do not want to install. Frankly that kind of crap is one reason I'm glad I left Virgin!

Hi ReCursing

Thank you for your post and welcome to our community.

Any credit owed would be applied to the Media account.

If the account is disconnected, this refund will be sent as a cheque refund approximately 40 days after the account closed.

If you would like to know the amount, we can confirm this in a private message.

I will send you a private message now, please look out for the envelope in the top right of the page.

Please respond to that if you would like any further support with this.

Thank you. May I suggest including information to that effect in the letters you send out.
