Changing numbers to international format

My iPhone phonbook keeps changing codes to international settings, for example 01234 123456 changes to 01 34 12 345 6 etc, meaning it doesn’t recognise the number when dialled. I cannot find sim applications on ios16.3.

Re: Changing numbers to international format

Hi Thenewnumber2,

Virgin Mobile appear to be making background changes to the Sims which have probably caused the reformatting -

Solved: Sim Application option missing - Virgin Media Community - 5239361

No it isn't solved.     Also -

SIM toolkit - Virgin Media Community - 5245119

As regards the well known but unresolved " reformatting contacts" problem,  in Settings/General/Language and Region change the region to somewhere other than UK and then back again, sometimes you may have to reboot your phone. Virgin Mobile have been ignoring / stalling/ kicking the can down the road with numerous roaming related problems because they can't fix them. The solution seems to be the forthcoming moving of customers over to "proper" O2 Sims, not the current arrangement of Virgin Sims using the O2 Network in the UK and suffering the half cocked, problem riddled roaming setup using a proxy Belgian company.

Regards,

Dave
