Cant access voicemail abroad - I do have PIN

I set up my PIN before leaving UK (because I made that mistake last time !)

I have a voicemail message so when I try to access it, I call VM, enter my PIN then it says 'thanks for calling virgin mobile, goodbye' and sends me a text saying someone tried to access my voicemail. Why is this so difficult with Virgin? I also have a lebara network phone with me and my friend has voxi - no probs whatsoever with either. Can someone help please.

I also can’t get my voicemail, and it’s not the first time while abroad.  I too have a pin and get the same ‘thanks for calling’ msg and a text!

Did you set up your PIN prior to leaving the UK please?
