Cannot register online account

I have just received a new SIM as part of my package but cannot register for the online mobile account. It asks for security question in order to register which I know but it won't work. Can someone help me so I can register and see my mobile account online please. I did call Virgin but the woman in the phone had no idea how to solve the issue.
