Cancelling within 14 days

Tuning in

Hi,

I've taken out a new plan with Virgin mobile and subsequently called them to cancel my contract within the 14 day cooling off period. This was due to the esim offering being withdrawn. I am just wondering if I can call back and keep the phone and phone plan and continue the loan payments on it without having the separate calling plan as what I'd like to do is keep the handset but use an o2 sim only sim card in it.

Is this possible?

Hey @rolfd, thanks for reaching out to us and a warm welcome back to the forums!

If you wish to put in a another SIM card once your handset arrives, you can do so, the plan / contract will still remain how it is if you wish to continue?

Hi @Ilyas,

Thanks for your reply but I think you misunderstood my question.

I have already received the handset and have since rang customer services to terminate the contract under the 14 days return policy. What I wanted to know is can I cancel the airtime agreement but keep the handset and continue paying for it without also paying for the airtime? The reason I ask was that whilst talking to the adviser yesterday on the phone she asked me if I also wanted to return my handset when I asked for the cancellation to be processed.

Thanks...

Just to note that I called customer services who have resolved my query. I can keep the phone plan only and cancel the airtime agreement. They did this over the phone for me.

Thanks
