After a new sim I still have no phone usage. I can’t call Virgin and I’ve had no response to my emails and messages. I’m paying for a service I’m not receiving therefore I want to cancel my contract.

I'm very sorry to hear about the issue with your SIM card.
Cancellation of accounts isn't something we would normally do over the forum's.
We can certainly look into the issue with the SIM card if you would like.
Can you confirm if the iPhone is from ourselves?
