Can’t use voice calls in Florida

Just landed in Florida and get sms from AT&T saying due to network technology compatibility traditional voice calls will not work. Use data, sms and app-based calling.

Any advice?

Google Pixel 4a (5G) phone.

Can sometimes access T-mobile and don’t get the sms message but haven’t tried to call. Still concerned that AT&T technology not compatible. May need to look at other uk provider in future for USA.
