Can't send message with SIM1 - error 96

All of a sudden I can't send SMS text messages at all. Get this error, "Can't send message with SIM1 - error 96". Switching airplane mode on then off doesn't help. Nor does power off and on. I receive messages OK.

Is this yet another network fault?

What phone do you have? 

 

Is it certain numbers you can't text to or all of them? 

 

Do you have any issues receiving text messages?
