Can't make outgoing calls

Pixel 6a on Virgin Mobile, using an eSIM.

When I try to make a call, all I get are 3 beeps and it disconnects. Believe the issue began today.

Steps taken:

- Rebooted phone
- Disabled WiFi calling
- Deleted eSIM from device and scanned QR code to install new eSIM
- Confirmed automatic network selection enabled

No change to plan. Changed billing address ~ 1 week ago.

Please don't ask me to call 789 - that doesn't work either (3 beeps and disconnects).

I am sorry to hear that you're having some trouble making outgoing calls from your device.

Update: couldn't send SMS or make outgoing calls since Saturday 1st April, and suddenly this afternoon it all starts working again, since Virgin Media's outage of broadband services was resolved.

I'm only a Virgin Mobile customer - no other services.

Look forward to an explanation on why this issue has plagued several of us.
